We are beyond thrilled to share our first wedding of 2013! Several weeks ago, Marlene and i were stalking the weather expecting snow for their engagement session (Click Here), thankfully mother nature was nice to us and snow came down on a perfect engagement session. Only natural i was hoping for some snow, but not too much of course for their wedding on February 16 … again mother nature was just too kind to us. Not too much, but just enough for snow to be in the photos for a winter wonderland themed wedding. The day was absolute perfection and we are so excited to share their love with YOU.

Happiest Thursday Kids!

This wedding that i am about to share with you is so special on several different levels. For one, it was our first DIY Wedding we have ever shot. Secondly, i was obsessed with it from the Save the Dates to the invites, imagine how i was the day of the wedding. I had a massive crush on it.. Lastly, it was our last wedding of the season. Well that one is bittersweet, but we have our engagements to look forward too and 2014! The wedding was in Cape May, NJ, it was actually the first time Erik and i had ever been, so it was quite exciting. Just a note, when i tell you this was the craftiest bride ever, she literally DIY’d everything… From Bouquets to boutonniere’s to center pieces to escort tea cups. It gets better, she even made her own – waittttt for it… WEDDING DRESS! It was absolutely stunning!!!  Here’s a little history on our beautiful bride Lauren, she crotchet’s hats, scarves etc for kids and adults and sews the cutest items which of course is on her ‘Curly Hair Conspiracy etsy page’. So the wedding was just perfection when it came to showing her talent and John’s love for music. Oh enough with the rambling… the photos will just narrate the weekend. PROMISE!

Happiest Friday Internet!

Hope you all an amazing and productive weekend! Let’s just start by saying the name – Sandy. We all hate the name after the terrible damage she caused to the beautiful NJ and NYC area. Sadly, some of us are still recovering from her and well this particular couple got married the Friday right after Sandy. Despite the tragic time, i must say at the end of the night it was as if Sandy had never existed. The wedding must go on and it did! We did Edwina and Danny’s engagement over the summer, click here. They are seriously just the sweetest ever. Even though there were little obstacles here and there throughout the day, I knew, with a love like theirs, the wedding day would be filled with a warm, loving beauty. We weren’t disappointed…
